Swan Fire was set up when a clear need was identified for a professional fire safety training and risk assessment service, which was not attached to the direct enforcing authority to assist local businesses and organisations in meeting their responsibilities under current Fire Safety legislation. We are a small happy team of passionate fire safety professionals who believe in offering a high quality service, which is tailored to fit individuals and organisations needs.

All businesses and organisations are required to carry out Fire Risk Assessments and Staff Training so our main function is to provide the following two services:

Fire Safety Training which is enjoyable, interesting, meets the requirements of delegates, businesses and current legislation. Onsite premises fire risk assessments carried out by a qualified experienced professional who is on your side! Our expert will ensure that you have a suitable and sufficient risk assessment as required by law and if you aren't compliant in any way, advise you on the necessary solutions to gain compliance with cost and time in mind.

Fire Awareness Course

As an employer that has staff working for you there are certain health and safety issues that need to be addressed to make sure that your workforce are safe within their working environment. This isn`t for your own benefit it`s for the benefit of your staff and by law you need to train your staff in areas like fire awareness. If a fire were to break out whilst at work would your staff have any idea about what to do? They would if you had enrolled them on a Fire Awareness Course as they could acquire a broad knowledge about how fires start and what to do if one breaks out at work. On the Fire Awareness Course your staff members will be taught about how fires can develop inside buildings and how harmful the effects of the smoke and flames are to personnel. Fire Warden Training

The fire warden will have taken part in comprehensive Fire Warden Training that taught them what to do in the event of an emergency. As part of the Fire Warden Training the appointed member of staff will learn all about the causes of fire. They`ll be introduced to aspects of human behavior that are unique when a fire breaks out. Once back at base if a fire breaks out they`ll know what to expect from their colleagues and be able to control the situation. The evacuation of the building should happen smoothly and everybody within the premises should be able to get outside calmly and in a safe manner. It`s important to let a few of the workforce take part in the Fire Warden Training as one member of staff can cover for another during their absence. It could prove to be a life saving thing to in the future if a fire were to break out at work.
