Once we have these we can quickly book your session without any fuss and you will be confident we will cover everything you need from the course

  1. Parking has been provided for Swan Fire (U.K.) Ltd’s vehicle onsite next to the extinguisher practical site (not on a public road or footpath)
  2. The area provided for the extinguisher practical is level and hard-standing and away from buildings (minimum of four car parking spaces in size) – on concrete, gravel or a level green short grassed area.
  3. The training room is set with seating for all delegates facing the front and is large enough to accommodate the maximum number of delegates.
  4. If your training room has presentation equipment available we will connect to that but if not power sockets are required for the Instructor to plug in a laptop and projector, with a table at the front for the laptop.

We have a wide range of fire training available at Swan Fire but how do you know which one you need? Answer our quick questions to find out the best course for you:

  • Will the person/people have a responsibility to evacuate staff in the event of hearing the alarm or discovering a fire?

    • If the answer is yes you need a Fire Marshal training course
    • If the answer is no you need a Fire Awareness training course

  • Has the person/people already attended a full 4 hour Fire Marshal course?

    • If the answer is yes you need attend the 2.5 hours Fire Marshal Refresher training course, which should be completed every 2 years.
    • If the answer is no you need to attend the comprehensive 4 hour Fire Marshal training course.

  • Does your business have suitable premises to hold a fire training course?

    • If the answer is yes we can deliver a course for up to 15 people at your workplace.
    • If the answer is no you can attend one of our regularly scheduled Open Fire Marshal training courses delivered at Sandford-on-Thames Village Hall, Henley Road, Oxford, OX4 4YN.

  • If you require staff to have a knowledge of of how to prevent fires and what to do in the event of a fire  (Fire Awareness training) will they be required to use a fire extinguisher?

    • If yes staff should attend the Fire Awareness with Extinguisher Practical training course which is delivered at your workplace for up to 30 people.
    • If no staff should attend a Fire Awareness Talk which is delivered at your workplace or remotely for an unlimited number of delegates.
