Most people have to carry heavy objects in the workplace from time to time and incorrect manual handling is the biggest cause of accidents at work. Make sure your staff know how to protect themselves from injury with this course.
You have a legal requirement to make sure your staff know how to lift and carry items correctly. This course provides guidance on moving objects safely, lifting and handling procedures and the kind of injuries that can be caused by incorrect handling.

Course Costs & Options
The course is held at your premises and can accommodate up to 12 delegates for a cost of £395+VAT.
One hour course: Includes everything listed in the ‘Course content includes’ section, with a brief overview on how to carry out an instant risk assessment in your head for each lifting task.
Two hour course: Most suitable for managers required to carry out risk assessments, the two hour course includes everything listed in the ‘Course content includes’ section, as well as an in-depth look at how to write risk assessments. We also supply a free Microsoft Word document template for delegates.
The cost is the same for both the one and two hour courses.
